This was my childhood family holiday and after 20 years I have returned with my family & our own children. There is still the same familiar faces , the staff that will bend over backwards for you, the food to die for and a location you can't beat. Who wouldn't want to walk out onto the snow every morning with or without your kids (they have an awesome kids club and kids ski school). The lounge is fantastic for the family & the bar service is friendly, quick & reasonably priced. You could not fault the reception or restaurant staff and I'm sure the manager doesn't sleep because she is everywhere always making things more comfortable and enjoyable. My only regret is that I waited so long to come back ....this place is amazing.”

We have just spent 3 nights at Smiggins Chalet Apartments with our Eldest daughter and Grandchildren. We could not fault the the place we had a one bedroom apartment which had been recently renovated. It had a double and 3 single beds. We bought the breakfast and dinner inclusions as well and the food was absolutely delicious. We will most definitely be back.”

We stayed here for the second year in a row and have to say, it didn't disappoint. Smiggins is just an excellent spot. My husband and I travelled with my parents (one who doesn't ski) and my sister's family that consisted of 3 kids. It does cater for everyone. For the advance skier it takes no time at all to head over to Perisher front, Mt P, Blue Cow or Guthega, actually it is easier as you don't have to face the crowds on the Village 8 or Quad in the front. The kids did their lessons in the morning and then could ski with us in the afternoon. The pub has a really great vibe and the restaurant is really good quality. We loved the apres ski sessions and enjoyed the lounge area where you have a pre-dinner drink or where the entertainment happens in the evening. The kids are well catered for, with a 5.30 dinner sitting and then kids club till 9pm. My mother didn't ski and she could watch the kids in their lessons and pick them up for lunch afterwards - it was all very easy. I would highly recommend staying at Smiggins. We have stayed in various places in Perisher and this one ticks all the boxes for us! A special mention to Nicki, our housekeeper in the chalet, who just looked after us so well. Thanks for making our holiday.”

Travelled to Smiggins with my 2 sons 12y and 14y. We stayed in a studio chalet and it was fantastic. There was a large bedroom with a TV, a kitchen, and a dining table, plenty of bench space and room for clothes. It was clean, warm and easily accessible. There was snow right outside our window which the boys opened to eat and we built a snowman looking into the room so it was the first and last thing we saw each day. We had the bed and breakfast package, the breakfasts were lovely and plentiful and although you had to walk to the hotel, it was only 2 mins away. The staff are so helpful and you are given 2 sets of lockers so there is absolutely no lugging of ski's and boards. Hot chocolates are highly recommended. This place is so highly recommended.”

We stayed in the apartments with our three year old and another family with a six and eight year old. The ski school and kids club was fantastic, they kept the kids entertained while we sat down for a three course dinner that was amazing. The staff are very friendly and polite and are happy to help with any requests. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms very clean and tidy. A bonus is the extra locker down at the hotel if you stay in the apartments. You will not be disappointed with this hotel.”
