2021 Cancellation Conditions

The NSW Government is expected to announce the easing of restrictions today and we are looking forward to an EPIC 2021 snow season!  Here is some information to keep in mind leading up to your reservation.

 

Smiggins Hotel & Chalet Apartments Full Cancellation Policy 

If notice of cancellation is received in writing prior to 60 days of the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $50 per person cancellation fee. If less than 60 days’ notice of cancellation is given, all monies are forfeited.

COVID-19 Provisions

  • If you are unable to travel as a result of a Government directive causing the closure of the NSW state border or effecting a lockdown in your area, your deposit will be transferred to the winter 2022 snow season or an alternative date in the 2021.
  • In the case that Government directive causes the closure of Smiggins Hotel and Chalet Apartments for the period of your reserved stay, your deposit will be refunded in full. Credits or refunds will not be provided if there are some services normally offered by the Hotel that need to be cancelled or postponed due to COVID-19 related restrictions.
  • Credits or refunds will not be provided in the event you are unable to secure lift passes or any products usually offered by Perisher Resort.

Tickets   We have been advised to encourage all of our guests to purchase EPIC Australia Passes which are currently available at www.perisher.com.au. Please read all the conditions carefully.  The website will also provide the most up to date information on Lift, Lesson and Hire options this year. It is likely you will not be able to purchase these items in the resort so make sure this is organised prior to your stay.

 

Kids Club & Day Care   Evening Kids Club will be available exclusively to guests of Smiggins Hotel & Chalet Apartments. Under the current restrictions we have enough space to accommodate all requests for evening Kids Club. Day Care will be available from 8:30am to 3:30 pm Monday to Saturday and 8.30am to 1.00pm Sunday. We will also be offering Afternoon Care Monday to Saturday 12.00pm to 3.30pm to complement morning ski and snowboard lessons. Places will be limited so be sure you book in advance.

Entertainment   Under the current restrictions Smiggins Hotel is aiming to have all of our favourites back in 2021 with our magic show, fireworks, and lots of live entertainment (with dancing!!) throughout the week.

 

Dining   Under the current two square metre rule Smiggins Hotel has ample space to accommodate all of our guests. Reception opens at 8:00am for daily Lunch and Dinner bookings. If you do not have a lunch booking you may be required to wait for a table to become available.

 

Sauna   The sauna is likely to be unavailable, but please check with Reception.

 

Checkin   Checkin is from 3pm. Before your arrival date we will email you a COVID-19 Declaration and Guest Registration form for you to complete and send back to us. Please try to limit your time in reception and call ahead before coming into the foyer to check in.

As in the past, credit card details are required on check in.

 

Checkout   All room charges during your stay will be processed to the credit card left at checkin and a receipt will be emailed to you. Your keys can be left at Reception. If you would like to rebook your room for 2022, please see us at Reception or simply respond to the checkout email.
